Your pretending is endless,
so here are my suggestions
as you find yourself Defenseless
inept to my intentions,
unless this, no wait, correction,
I will leave you senseless
blindly idle and penniless,
scrambling your defenses,
make you part of my nutritous breakfast
you couldn't even exhale,
as my words, they leave you breathless
if I'm wrong then correct this,
when I say suspect this,
your detectors reject this,
so your still jotting down notes
I've got you checked off my checklist,

I'll bring it all back,
in case you missed
the stacked mental impact
of collaborating systems
intrinsic in this poly phonic
blissed out and rhythmic conniption fit,
that you dismissed...so I'll connect this
my endless, ramble of thoughts
tempts rhythms and clench fists
it's water dripping to quench lips,
counteract conventions at best this
counter culture remolder, makes times suspended
jedi mind tricks leave you tempting the tempted,
quietly presenting my thesis
it's pieces conceded, have you competing with masses
Sewn together, for better, or worse
constantly staging upheavals beneath this
towering stage, bequeath this
upheaval of searching strategic
with me leaving you all in stitches.

Happy Aloha Friday the 13 th ! ( Blog Link ) It is, sadly, another somber Friday, with such chaos and atrocity playing out in the world. To say the situation in Israel is complicated would be an understatement. This article tries to simplify it, but I don’t think such a complicated situation can ever be simplified. While I don’t want to dwell on it, I think Wendell berry does a good job of capturing a lot of what I have been feeling as of late: "When despair for the world grows in me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief.   Happy Aloha Friday, Many would shake their head if I told them that Mark Twain and Nina Simone had a lot in common. Yes, they were both writers, passionate about their art form, passionate about many things. But Twain’s writing, owing to the times, was marked with racial undertones, while Nina Simone’s work fueled her civil rights activism. Through all of it though, the two shared a few ties that bind. Here are two pretty interesting ties!   Neither Mark Twain, nor Nina Simone were there actual names.
